My family visited me in the summer and we traveled to Nikko(ìíÎÃ; Day Light), Oarai(ÓÞá©: Big Wash) and Tokyo. Here are some photos.

At the lake Jujenji. So peaceful. We stay San-su-i(mountain water) hotel. |
The Jujenji lake. The deepest bottom is 160 meters. You can board on a ferry but make sure you get there by 3:00 pm. |
The street in front of the hotel. Virtually
no tourists were there. |
A dinner(Wa-shoku, traditional Japanese course menu) included in the hotel package. If you are not a hard core Japanese food mania, you will not be so pleased. |
A breakfast is also included in the hotel pack. About 12,000 yen for one person. They charge for the hot spa separately. |
To-sho-ku(ÔÔðÎÏà). One of the finest temple in Japan. Tokugawa Ieyasu is buried here. |
Yes, I am tired. |
The three monkeys. No listening, no talking, no seeing. |
The fall Ke-kon(ü¤åñ). You can ride an elevator to get down to the bottom but have to pay for it. |
Or you can just watch it from the free
observatory. |
My son at the Oarai beach. |
So cute. |
Odaiba(ªª÷»íÞ; east
Tokyo). They used to defend Tokyo here from foreign ship
in late 19 centry. |
You can make a nice family outing here.
I am not so sure if you want to swim here, but you see many
people windsurfing. |
