I went back to Mt. Fuji again in the end of July, to climb up to the mountain. At last, I did it. Thin air, headache, muscle pain and dirty shoes. It took me 8 hours for round trip. 5.5 hours of ascending. 1 hour lunch break. 1.5 hours descending.

Snows are all gone this time. |
Even grasses. |
I have been here in Spring. It
was under the snow, I think. |
Yes, I started from 5th station (Ko-ko-me, about 2500 meters) and now it is 3100 meters. 670 meters more to go. |
You are almost there, it says. |
Paths are getting rough when approaching to the top. |
I am almost there. You can see the top from here. |
At last on the top. It was foggy though. |
Souvenir shops on the top. Water is about 500 yen (5 times more expensive than the ground. And Snickers is about 250 yen). |
Can't go without it. |
The fire mouth of Mt. Fuji. |
Smaller than I expected. |
Path back to the 5th station. Very gentle slopes, but takes hours to get down. |
At the lake Ashi in Ha-ko-ne. You can
board on a pirate ship here. |
See the smoke? It is alive!! |
Boiling eggs. |
Eggs turn into black after boiling in the water. Tastes the same though. 500 yen for six pack. |
Mt. Fuji was supposed to be seen over
me but it was cloudy. |
