I made a business trip to Paris, France during my stay in Japan. It was my 5 or 6th visit to Paris for OECD meeting because I have been working as a consultant for Korean government. It was my second visit in 2006 and I expect to participate again in September again to finish the discussion. What were we discussing? The revision of PSE(Producer Support Estimate). EU wanted to fix the index to reflect their efforts to reduce government support for agriculture. The exporting countries such as Canada and Australia didn't like it. So they were fighting. A waste basket and a milepost for OECD. Yes, it's in French so it is OCDE not OECD. |

A temporary entrance. Heavily guarded and secured. |

Me at the outdoor cafe. |

The elevator at the hotel Passy. Old. Really old. I didn't know how to operate it when I first rode it. |

The front gate of the Hotel Passy. 70
Euros for one person. |

A room with a view to the street. Usually it is not that hot even at night in Paris. Thus, no air conditioner. Also no refrigerator. |

|
|
The original bidet. |
|
A nice view to the street from my room. |

Me on a bridge. |

Air France rocks! They change my seat from economy to business because the business seats are almost empty and I am elite member of the Sky Team. It was really nice but don't think it is worth of paying double for these seat. I will keep flying a coach. |
